The central train station in Monaco is called the Gare de Monaco. Frequent rail service operates from Monaco to Nice, Cannes and points west.  Service is also available to Menton, Italy and points east. 

Trains leave every 15 or 30 minutes from a tunnel located deep in the mountainside.  Access to the station from the harbour area is via a long pathway to the left of a small church.
